Did you actually blog? Because I'm getting nothing on my screen...and I miss you...and your funny stories...and pretty quilts...so please write something!!! Otherwise I'll have to get up off this chair and actually do something today!!
I think the Friendship Star quilt makes a very good one for Quilts of Valor. Those mini quilts could come live at my house any day. The stitcheries are so well done. I like the snowman designs. I hope my fingers still work well at the age of the stitcher that did these.
I'm so happy that you finally got rid of that laryngitis (LOL) cuz I've been missing you!!! Your posts always make me smile and lots of times "roll on the floor laughing my you know what off!!!" Last year's flowers are absolutely stunning, and whow on all those "Quilts of Valor!" You gals did a fabulous job :) Blessings to you and yours!
I am a wife (married to a farmer, which means "I don't do anything"), a mother of 3 (of the greatest people on earth), & grandmother of 2 (one of the world's most beautiful, most intelligent and most charming young lady in the world AND one of the most handsome, most adorable and well, most on the move little boy in the world). And then there's Baxter - a 4 year old Brittany Spaniel - who's almost perfect. Since there can be large chunks of uncommitted time in my life, I have, in the interest of self-preservation, developed a number of other interests (none of which I'm particularly good at, but one must have hope & perseverance). Those interests being primarily quilting, gardening and woodworking. And so, these are "The Days of My Life".....
